Getting Started with Workflows

Automate repetitive tasks and let Maggie do the heavy lifting for you.

What are Workflows?

Think of a workflow as a recipe that Maggie follows to complete a task for you. Just like a cooking recipe has steps (chop vegetables, heat oil, stir fry), a workflow has steps that Maggie works through one by one.

The best part? You don't need to know how to code. Just describe what you want to accomplish, and Maggie will create the workflow for you.

How Workflows Work

When you run a workflow, Maggie goes through each step in order. Some steps Maggie handles automatically, while others pause to get your input or approval.

Creating Your First Workflow

Getting started is easy. Here's how to create your first workflow:

1

Go to Workflows

Click on 'Workflows' in your team menu to see all available workflows and create new ones.

2

Click 'New Workflow'

Start fresh by clicking the new workflow button.

3

Describe what you want

Tell Maggie what you'd like to automate in plain language. For example: 'Research a topic and write a summary email' or 'Review a document and create action items.'

4

Review and customize

Maggie will create a workflow based on your description. You can adjust the steps, add approval points, or modify any details.

5

Save and run

Once you're happy with the workflow, save it and click 'Run' to see it in action.

Running a Workflow

When you run a workflow, you'll see each step as it happens. Maggie shows you what she's working on, and you can follow along in real-time.

  • Green checkmarks show completed steps
  • A spinning indicator shows the current step
  • When a step needs your input, you'll see a form or approval button
  • You can pause or stop a workflow at any time

You're Always in Control

Workflows are designed to keep you in the loop. You decide:

  • When to add approval steps - Pause the workflow to review important decisions
  • What Maggie can access - Control which tools and information workflows can use
  • When workflows run - Run manually, or set up automatic schedules
  • Who can use them - Share workflows with your whole team or keep them private
